San Jose del Cabo, sister city to Cabo San Lucas, is a resort destination on the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula. Largely an American party destination, like Cancun and Cabo San Lucas, the area fills up with thousands of young partygoers several times a year during reading week and various other college breaks.

Even though it’s one of the hottest party towns in Mexico with a heavy population of North American expats in the area you can also enjoy the more luxurious and tranquil side of San Jose with its many golf courses, tours, breathtaking tropical waters and miles of stunning golden sand beaches.

San Jose del Cabo is a tropical desert. the temperature ranges from 13-35°C. Rain is rare and the humidity is low in this arid climate except during the summer season July- September when the Baja Peninsula is most vulnerable to hurricanes. Water temperatures can range from 20-30°C and the surfing is usually great

Must See

The main plaza is a must see.A great place to meet up with friends or make a few new ones. Take in the heritage of this city with local dance and music in the square, then go for a tour of Cathedral de San Jose followed up with a walk through the gallery district for unique handcrafted mementos. The golden sand beaches seem endless and taking a side street adventure to find your favorite place to chill with a cold drink in hand is usually your only priority.
